After all these research I have come to find that there is a problem with people with disabilities, particularly people that suffer of Autism, in any level. Autistic people have difficulties in communication, social skills, and repetitive behaviors. These means that they have a hard time speaking, don't really know how to read other people emotions or how to speak about their own emotions, and they are in constant repetitive routines that if broken really sets them off for self-injury in extreme cases. This is a problem when going into adult life because they will require of constant care form another human, however it feels stressful because like us Autistic people want independence. But depending on the kind of Autism the person may have, independence might not be an option at all. Reason why, I plan to look for a way in which design can allow Autistic young adults switch to an independent life through the use of contactless technology. Not completely sure on what the solutions will be but so far, I think UX/UI and interface design can be a path for design to help out on such issue.
